Helles Memorial Addenda

Return to Addenda Panel main page

The details of all 18 RND men listed on the Helles Addenda (formerly 'Forgotten Heroes') are found below their relevant panel image. We do not list details of the Army men also seen here, but would call your attention to the Lieutenant Colonel listed on the second panel below; a high rank & its privileges evidently did not guarantee commemoration. ADDENDA FORECAST: HELLES MEMORIAL

This is what we hope to see in the near future, the addition of the last ten RND "Forgotten Heroes" to the Helles Memorial Addenda. Sadly, & for the foreseeable future, their commemorations will remain only as images in cyberspace.

SUCCESS. August 2005.
We are pleased to announce that five of the ten RND men have now been added to the Helles Memorial Addenda panels. This makes our artificial representation of the last 10 RND men slightly obsolete, but as there are still five RND men who still remain outstanding after nearly four years of the Commission "sitting" on their cases, we will be leaving our image of their projected memorial intact. The Commission have kindly provided photos of the newly inscribed panels below (Jackson H. RMLI, Jennings J. RMLI, Baldwin H.R. RNVR, Graham E. RNVR, & Norris G.H. RNVR):-
